Today, I completed my final assignments for my Early Childhood Education and Psychology classes. To say I feel excited, nervous, and relieved all at once feels surreal. Reflecting on the past five years, starting with enrolling in PA Cyber and launching my own blog, it's clear I’ve been incredibly fortunate. What a whirlwind this journey has been!
This year alone, I’ve learned so much, not just from classes, but from life itself. Being a senior has opened my eyes to the world in new ways. I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many kind, inspiring people through work, school, and my community. I love connecting with others in real life, bonding over little things like art or music. These small but meaningful friendships leave strong impacts, and I truly cherish the minds and souls of those I meet.

Just yesterday morning, I caught up with an old friend from work, Alayna. She used to be my coworker at the music school but moved to Florida after the summer. It was gold to see her thriving and to hear about all the exciting things in her life, like spontaneous trips to Disney World or beach days just a drive away. I’m so grateful for our friendship. Now, her twin sister has taken over her role at work, so it feels like a piece of Alayna is still here in PA. Both of them are strong, inspiring role models to me, and I admire the bright futures ahead of them.
Speaking of work, I can’t overlook how impactful my students have been. Whether it’s laughing at a silly story or celebrating when they hit a high note, being a student teacher has been everything I dreamed of, and a bit more. I especially love working with shy students and watching them grow in confidence and determination. Retail has had its challenges, too, but I’m so thankful for all the lessons it’s taught me and the meaningful customer connections I’ve made. The friendships I’ve formed through work have been a true blessing.
Next up: prom and graduation. Two major milestones that are just around the corner. Saying goodbye to PA Cyber won’t be easy, it’s been my rock and support system since middle school. From the relationships I’ve built with teachers and advisors to the fun events and late-night cram sessions, I’ll miss it all deeply.
I’m proud to be part of the Class of 2025, a strong, determined group of hard workers. As I prepare to continue my educational journey at Seton Hill University, majoring in psychology, I feel excited to spread love, support, and compassion to others, just as so many have done for me.
With gratitude and a full heart,
Latte Love,
Jill
